2D CONCEPT ARTIST

Our client is looking for a Senior 2D Concept Artist to join a slot game production team and take ownership of the visual direction and high-quality game art. This role is ideal for someone with strong artistic fundamentals and hands-on experience in iGaming (slots), combined with a deep understanding of modern AI-powered art pipelines. We’re looking for a specialist who can not only create outstanding visuals but also leverage AI tools to speed up ideation, exploration, and production workflows. Your main responsibility will be: • Create 2D concepts for characters, environments, objects, symbols, UI elements, and atmospheric scenes for slot games. • Prototype visual ideas at the early stages of development. • Search for references, build moodboards, and propose strong visual directions. • Develop and support the overall visual direction and style for new game themes. • Produce moodboards, quick sketches, exploration drawings, and color/composition variations. • Deliver high-quality final concept artworks ready for production. • Work closely with the Game Producer. • Bring fresh ideas and suggest themes, trends, and visual solutions for future games. • 2+ years of experience as a Concept Artist / 2D Artist, preferably in iGaming (slots). • Proven experience working on slot games (symbols, reels, UI, bonus screens) - this is important. • Strong artistic foundation: composition, color theory, lighting, stylization. • A high-quality portfolio showcasing characters, environments, and slot-related visuals. • Practical experience with AI tools for art production (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, Photoshop AI, etc.). • Ability to integrate AI into a real production workflow, not just experimentation. • Strong ideation skills and ability to quickly explore multiple visual directions. • Proficiency in Photoshop or similar tools. • Understanding of game production pipelines and collaboration processes. • Ukrainian/Russian/English language. • Competitive salary. • 20 vacation days and 5 sick days yearly. • A friendly and creative atmosphere. • Opportunities for professional growth and development. • Flexible working hours and remote work options.
