Job description

Verus Mortgage Capital is seeking experienced sales professionals to develop and manage relationships with banks, credit unions, and financial institutions within assigned regional territories. This role sits within the Wholesale Sales organization and focuses on creating strategic referral and origination partnerships with depository institutions seeking lending solutions for borrowers who fall outside of traditional agency or portfolio guidelines. The Strategic Accounts Executive will position Verus’ non-Agency and Jumbo wholesale lending solutions as an outlet for underserved borrower scenarios while Verus remains the originating lender. This role combines relationship management, business development, and consultative sales within the institutional lending space. Success in this role requires a strong ability to build relationships, develop new business opportunities, educate partners on Verus’ lending solutions, and drive consistent loan production growth within the assigned territory. This position offers a base salary of $72,500. plus commission.
