We are looking for a detail-oriented and hands-on Comptroller to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of a nonprofit organization while ensuring accurate reporting, strong internal controls, and compliance with regulatory and nonprofit accounting standards. What You’ll Be Doing: • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and payroll oversight • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, budget-to-actual reports, and financial analyses for leadership and Board review • Monitor cash flow, oversee banking relationships, and maintain strong financial controls and compliance procedures • Lead audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors, accountants, and regulatory agencies as needed • Support organizational financial planning, process improvements, and documentation of accounting policies and procedures • Support the client with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed, in alignment with the role and overall business objectives Who We’re Looking For: • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting, finance, or controllership experience • Previous experience in nonprofit, healthcare, or behavioral health environments is highly preferred • Experience with accounting systems and advanced Excel skills required; NetSuite experience is a strong plus • Strong understanding of financial reporting, audit preparation, cash flow management, and internal controls • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities independently • Available to work in US time zones (Graveyard shift in the Philippines) • Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer Technical Requirements: • Comfortable in using time-trackers (e.g. Time Doctor) • Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam • Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps) • Available backup equipment in cases of power and internet outages Why You’ll Love Working Here: 💰 Competitive Compensation We offer a monthly salary starting at PHP 100,000 - 130,000 , with flexibility for higher compensation based on your experience and qualifications.
