• Support engineering teams with layouts, calculations, research, and early-stage design development
• Produce clear, coordinated drawings and documentation with minimal oversight while maintaining design intent accuracy
• Contribute to workflow improvements, standards updates, and documentation enhancements through structured feedback and version control tools
• Mentor and support junior designers by reviewing work, sharing best practices, and reinforcing modeling standards
• Participate in coordination meetings and ensure clear communication of risks, assumptions, and design updates
Requirements:
This role requires strong technical expertise in BIM modeling and coordinated design delivery, along with the ability to operate independently on complex production tasks. You should bring both engineering awareness and hands-on modeling proficiency, particularly within security or related technology systems.
• 4+ years of experience in AEC environments with strong Revit and BIM coordination expertise
• Experience working on technology systems such as security, telecom, AV, or similar low-voltage disciplines
• Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, with familiarity in Navisworks, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and collaboration platforms
• Solid understanding of coordination workflows, including clash detection and multi-discipline model integration
• Ability to produce accurate construction documentation and maintain high model quality standards
• Working knowledge of engineering principles supporting layout design, calculations, and system planning
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, production, and project teams
• Experience mentoring or guiding junior designers in production and coordination tasks
