LARAVEL TEAM LEAD

Accountabilities: • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of backend systems and web services using PHP and Laravel, ensuring scalable and maintainable architecture across projects. • Oversee API development and integrations with third-party services while ensuring performance, security, and reliability standards are met. • Guide and support a team of developers through code reviews, technical mentoring, and architectural decision-making. • Manage deployment processes on AWS environments, including setup, configuration, and SSL implementation. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and ensure timely delivery of features. • Improve engineering practices by introducing best practices in coding, testing, caching, and system optimization. Requirements: • 6–10 years of experience in software development with strong expertise in PHP, Laravel (3+ years), and backend engineering. • Strong knowledge of MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Linux, Apache, and RESTful API design. • Hands-on experience with Composer, NPM, Git or Subversion, and modern software development workflows. • Solid understanding of OOP principles, software architecture, and scalable system design. • Experience working with AWS infrastructure, deployments, and production environments. • Familiarity with Redis or other caching mechanisms to optimize application performance. • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to mentor and guide teams effectively. • Exposure to JavaScript frameworks, GraphQL, or complex application development is a plus.
