Job description

Accountabilities: In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, optimisation, and governance of a large-scale SharePoint Online environment within Microsoft 365, ensuring reliable and efficient collaboration across multiple teams and programs. • Manage end-to-end SharePoint Online configuration, including site architecture, libraries, content types, permissions, and integrations • Maintain and enhance platform performance, usability, and scalability across multiple business units and projects • Implement governance frameworks, access controls, and data lifecycle management including retention and archiving policies • Drive automation initiatives using Power Automate and related Microsoft tools to improve efficiency • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, audits, and continuous improvement of the SharePoint environment • Collaborate with PMO teams, contract managers, and stakeholders to enable effective digital collaboration and information management • Deliver end-user training and support adoption of best practices across the platform Requirements: The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in SharePoint administration along with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a service-oriented environment. • Hands-on experience (2+ years) in SharePoint Online administration within Microsoft SharePoint Online • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, MS Forms, and Power Automate • Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting, Power BI, and Windows environments for administration and reporting • Familiarity with Azure services including Microsoft Entra ID and basic Azure DevOps concepts • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues effectively • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences • High level of organisation, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience) • Preferred certifications: AZ-900, MS-900, ITIL 4 Foundation Benefits: • Flexible working arrangements including hybrid, remote, and adjusted working hours • Inclusive and supportive work environment focused on collaboration and wellbeing • Strong emphasis on learning and development with continuous upskilling opportunities • Paid volunteering leave through “Days of Difference” to support charitable causes • Opportunity to work on meaningful public sector digital transformation initiatives • Exposure to modern Microsoft technologies and enterprise-scale environments • Work–life balance supported through adaptable working policies.
