We offer unparalleled financial strength, stability and “large company” benefits, in addition to an exciting, friendly, “small company” atmosphere.</b></p><p style="text-align:inherit"></p><p><b>A Brief Overview</b><br /> </p><h2>The Field Marketing Representative visits with BHHC’s wholesale agency partners nationally and is responsible for monitoring and fostering agency relationships while growing a book of business.</h2><h2></h2><h2>What will you do?</h2><ul><li><h2>Understand and communicate BHHC’s non admitted property product to the assigned wholesale agents Arrange virtual visits and in person travel to call on wholesale agents nationally.</h2></li></ul><ul><li><h2>Act as decision maker within the territory regarding all levels of agency appointments, agency commitment levels, terminations, and other types of disciplinary actions.</h2></li></ul><ul><li><h2>Identify possible opportunities for new business by working with agency partners to review in-force business and work with Company underwriters to assist in the acquisition and retention of larger accounts.</h2></li></ul><ul><li><h2>Develop the marketing strategy for the assigned agents .</h2></li></ul><ul><li><h2>In person travel approximately 25% of the time.</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>What are we looking for?</h2><ul><li><h2>Bachelor&#39;s degree in business or related field or equivalent</h2></li><li><h2>3-5 years related work experience.</h2></li><li><h2>Knowledge of Property &amp; Casualty insurance and rating insurance products.</h2></li><li><h2>Understanding of Excess &amp; Surplus Lines Insurance.</h2></li></ul><h2></h2><h2>Who would excel in this role?</h2><ul><li><h2>You excel in establishing and fostering relationships with larger insurance agencies.</h2></li><li><h2>You are a big picture thinker and are able to develop marketing strategies for the assigned territory.</h2></li><li><h2>You are able to work independently while collaborating with your team members.</h2></li><li><h2>You are a goal-oriented person with excellent time management skills</h2></li><li><h2>You have experience working with Wholesale Property Brokers and/or knowledge of Surplus Lines Insurance.</h2></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education</b><br />Bachelor&#39;s Degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.<br /><br /><b>Experience</b><br />Three or more years related work experience.<br /><br /><b>Required Knowledge</b></p><ul><li>Basic Marketing Skills</li><li>Microsoft Office Suite</li></ul><p><br /><b>Preferred Knowledge</b></p><ul><li>Insurance terminology</li><li>Manuals, policy coverages, endorsements, etc.</li><li>Company guidelines on acceptability and profitability for applications/accounts/policies</li><li>Department practices and procedures</li></ul><p><br /><b>Required Skills and Abilities</b></p><ul><li>Excellent oral and written communication</li><li>Excellent customer service</li><li>Calculator</li><li>Documentation</li><li>Organize time and resources and handle multiple high priorities</li><li>Research and evaluate alternatives, reach decisions, and make recommendations</li><li>Maintain strict confidentiality</li><li>Meet deadlines</li><li>Work with detail with accuracy</li><li>Work well with others</li></ul><h3><i>A comprehensive benefits package is available for regular, full-time employees, including health, vision, dental, life and disability insurance as well as a 401(k) with company match.
