SENIOR DATA ENGINEER (REPORTING & ANALYTICS)

Responsibilities ➡️ Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data transformation processes to support reporting and analytics. ➡️ Take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of data solutions, from design and implementation to testing, deployment, and ongoing support. ➡️ Develop and enhance analytical data models to meet business and reporting needs. ➡️ Work within an AWS-based reporting environment, covering data ingestion, transformation, storage, and query execution layers. ➡️ Collaborate closely with product, engineering, operations, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions. ➡️ Support the delivery of reports and datasets for both operational reporting and enterprise data warehouse initiatives. Must have ➡️ At least 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer working on reporting, analytics, or data platform projects in production environments. ➡️ Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python , with experience using AI coding assistants to improve productivity and code quality. ➡️ Hands-on experience with AWS , including building data pipelines and data transformation processes. ➡️ Ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions with minimal supervision. ➡️ Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD. ➡️ Fluent English and Polish (spoken & written) Nice to have ➡️ Experience in the insurance, financial services, or another highly regulated industry. ➡️ Experience with Change Data Capture (CDC). ➡️ Experience building reporting capabilities for multi-tenant SaaS products.
