Job Summary
The Microsoft Alliance and Marketplace BDM is responsible for growing NetApp's Co-selling relationship with Microsoft, orchestrating regional relationship planning and scaling Azure Marketplace acceptance, resulting in increased sales of NetApp Cloud Products and Microsoft Azure consumption.
This role will be focused on regional or customer segment assignment, supporting NetApp Enterprise and Commercial customers based in the United States and Canada.
Role and Responsibilities
• Develop and expand relations with Microsoft Operating Units, dedicated resources and selling teams through joint goal setting, routine plan reviews and field engagement.
• Drive Training and Readiness of NetApp's Cloud Portfolio Products, IP Co-sell execution and Marketplace transaction options throughout the Operating Units of Microsoft and NetApp.
• Evangelize and support Azure NetApp File strategic growth initiatives to increase Azure Consumed Revenue across NetApp Customers
• Manage the IP Co-sell process between NetApp and Microsoft, ensuring pipeline growth, opportunity registration, increased number of wins and calculated ACR to the Operating Units of Microsoft
• Facilitate alignment of Microsoft and NetApp Sales teams (Azure/ Hybrid Cloud) to drive new business opportunities in Existing customers
• Facilitate alignment of Microsoft and NetApp Sales teams (Azure/ Hybrid Cloud) to drive new business opportunities in New Customers
• Be knowledgeable of Microsoft's Cloud Strategy, Strategic Industry solutions, Target Markets, Challenges and Business influences
• Responsible for GTM Strategy for the Region or Customer Segment, including crafting plans, orchestration of account mapping sessions, generation of pipeline plans and other GTM
• Interact with local Cloud and Hybrid Cloud sales teams and be a resource for helping strategize on opportunity execution. (Marketplace focus)
• Coordinate and align overall Cloud GTM Strategy with Regional / District Sales and Cloud Area Leadership
• Support Regional Marketing events focused on growing opportunities for NetApp Cosell products and Azure NetApp Files
Job Requirements
• Experience or detailed understanding of the Microsoft Organizational Sales/GTM structure supporting the assigned region or customer segment.
• Strategic plan creation, communication, and kpi management skills
• Broad understanding/experience of selling PaaS and IaaS Cloud services
• Confident Presenter and communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Value-based selling Skills
• Ability to assist in developing the GTM Strategy for consumption-based Cloud services
• Understanding of the Microsoft Partner Center Cosell Process
• Understanding of the Microsoft Azure Marketplace
• Understanding of the NetApp Cloud Solution offerings
Education
• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification ( Az900) or equivalent experience

If the Company determines this role will be performed in Colorado, the starting salary for this position is 150,300 OTE. This role could be eligible for comprehensive benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, 401(K), Paid Time off (PTO), Company bonus, and Employee stock purchase plan *. Final compensation will be dependent on various factors such as location, qualifications, certifications, relevant work experience, and other factors, consistent with applicable law.
