Location: Remote-friendly (U.S.) Work Model: Flexible; in-person meetups/events as needed Industry: Fintech / HR Compensation: OTE $180,000–$200,000 About Our Partner Our partner is a cash-flow-positive, high-growth startup (15+ people) that recently raised approximately $3.5M and is on track to triple revenue this year. The team is building an AI-enabled go-to-market marketplace that helps finance and accounting leaders discover, evaluate, and adopt solutions that drive measurable business outcomes. The Opportunity Our partner is hiring a Founding Account Executive to help build the revenue engine from the ground up. This role owns the full sales cycle with a strong emphasis on running high-intent sales conversations and closing deals, while partnering closely with the founding team on messaging, process, and product feedback. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility into leadership and the opportunity to shape GTM strategy in a fast-moving environment. Responsibilities • Own the full sales cycle: discovery, scoping, demos, solutioning, negotiation, and close • Convert inbound demand efficiently; develop targeted outbound motions where effective • Communicate clear business value to finance and accounting decision-makers (e.g., CFO, Controller, FP&A, RevOps) • Maintain accurate pipeline reporting and forecasts; consistently meet or exceed targets • Capture customer insights to inform product roadmap and GTM experimentation • Represent our partner at select industry events; occasional travel as needed Requirements • 1+ years of closing experience as an Account Executive in B2B SaaS or tech-enabled solutions (or equivalent high-impact sales experience) • Strong communication skills with the ability to sell credibly to senior finance stakeholders • Ownership mindset: organized, resourceful, comfortable with ambiguity, and biased toward action • Familiarity with mid-market sales motions and modern sales tools/CRMs Nice to Have: • Experience selling to finance or accounting buyers (e.g., expense management, corporate cards, payroll, ERP, FP&A tools) • Background in finance, accounting, or economics
