Role Summary
Billennium is seeking an experienced Digital Advisor / Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer to partner with Sales, clients, and delivery teams to design business-driven technology solutions that accelerate digital transformation. This role combines consultative selling, solution architecture, and sales engineering to support revenue growth through client discovery, solution development, and expansion opportunities across existing and new accounts.
The successful candidate will translate business challenges into scalable solutions spanning AI, application development, cloud, managed services, and digital transformation while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the sales lifecycle.
Requirements
Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting within an IT services or consulting organization.
• Strong knowledge of software development, cloud platforms, managed services, AI, and enterprise technology solutions.
• Proven ability to lead discovery sessions and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Demonstrated success supporting enterprise sales teams, driving opportunity progression, and expanding existing client engagements.
• Experience preparing proposals, SOWs, estimates, and executive presentations.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills with executive-level clients.
• Understanding of Agile, DevOps, cloud-native technologies, and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience supporting RFI/RFP processes and commercial solutioning is an asset.
• Fluent in English (C1+), French an assett.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with Sales to identify client needs, qualify opportunities, and drive revenue growth through discovery, solution positioning, and project expansion.
• Lead client discovery workshops to understand business objectives, technical requirements, and transformation priorities.
• Design high-level solution architectures aligned with client goals and Billennium's service portfolio.
• Develop compelling proposals, presentations, Statements of Work (SOWs), estimates, and technical responses for client engagements.
• Serve as the Sales Engineer during customer engagements, articulating business value, technical capabilities, and solution differentiation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineering, and delivery teams to develop scalable, commercially viable solutions.
• Support RFI/RFP responses, solution costing, and commercial strategy.
• Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery while maintaining alignment with the proposed solution vision.
