<p><b>Corporate EHS Specialist – Sweden (South/Central)</b></p><p><b>Location: Sweden (Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Malmö, Stockholm) | Remote + Nordic travel</b></p><p></p><p><b>Drive Safety Excellence Across Sweden and the Nordics</b></p><p>At Solenis, we support industrial customers in operating safely, efficiently, and sustainably through specialised chemical solutions.</p><p>Our work is closely connected to real operations on-site, particularly within pulp & paper and water-intensive industries, where strong EHS standards are critical. Across the Nordics, we partner with customers and field teams to ensure safe, compliant, and effective processes.</p><p>We are now strengthening our Nordic EHS capability and are looking for a Corporate EHS Specialist based in Sweden to play a key role in driving safety performance across the region.</p><p>This is a hands-on, field-based role suited to someone with strong technical foundations, a proactive mindset, and the ability to operate independently.</p><p></p><p><b>Your Impact</b></p><p><b>EHS Leadership in the Field</b></p><ul><li>Support commercial teams and operations across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland</li><li>Drive implementation of Solenis EHS standards, programmes, and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor on safety, compliance, and risk management</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Operational & Customer Site Safety</b></p><ul><li>Conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA)</li><li>Lead incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions</li><li>Support safe execution of customer-facing activities and field operations</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Training & Culture</b></p><ul><li>Deliver practical EHS training and coaching</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture across field teams</li><li>Ensure clear understanding of chemical safety, SDS, and hazard identification</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Your Profile</b></p><ul><li>Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Science, or Safety Engineering</li><li>Relevant EHS certification aligned to Swedish requirements (e.g. NEBOSH or equivalent)</li><li>3–5 years’ experience in EHS within industrial, manufacturing, or chemical environments</li><li>Fluent Swedish and English (mandatory)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Core Capabilities</b></p><ul><li>Strong technical understanding of EHS fundamentals (non-negotiable)</li><li>Experience with safety programmes (LOTO, confined space, hot work, ergonomics, etc.)</li><li>Solid knowledge of Swedish/Nordic EHS regulations</li><li>Ability to analyse risks, connect concepts, and act decisively</li><li>Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Personal Attributes</b></p><ul><li>High ownership and accountability</li><li>Structured, reliable, and practical in approach</li><li>Confident communicator across different stakeholders</li><li>Comfortable working independently in a remote, field-based role while collaborating effectively across teams</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Key Requirements</b></p><ul><li>Based in Sweden, preferably in the Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Malmö, or Stockholm regions</li><li>Candidates from other locations at a similar latitude will also be considered, provided they have convenient access to an international airport and rental car facilities</li><li>Located within reasonable distance to an international airport</li><li>Valid driving licence recognised in Sweden (mandatory)</li><li>Willing to travel 20–30% across the Nordics</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Join Solenis</b></p><ul><li>Join a global, sustainability-focused organisation with strong industry impact</li><li>Take ownership of a critical EHS role with real influence</li><li>Work in a flexible, remote-first environment</li><li>Be part of a collaborative, high-performing team that values expertise and impact</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Interested?</b></p><p>If you are looking for a role where you can apply your technical EHS expertise, influence safety culture, and work close to real operations, we would like to hear from you.</p><p>Apply now and contribute to EHS excellence at Solenis.</p><p></p><p>#EHSCareers #SwedenJobs #HealthAndSafety #SolenisCareers #ChemicalIndustry #NordicsJobs #LI-AR1 #REMOTE</p><p></p>
