<p style="text-align:inherit">&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p><h2><b>JOB DESCRIPTION:</b></h2><p><b>Electrophysiology Field Technical Engineer</b></p><p></p><p><b>Location - Lisbon</b></p><p><br />Position main goals:</p><p><br />• The incumbent is responsible for the sales and promotion of Division products related to<br />the management of arrhythmias and technical support to medical personnel belonging to<br />his/her own area of competence and education/training activities.<br />• Servicing the current customer base, increasing sales within that base and establishing<br />new accounts.<br />• Ensure that all Abbott standing Regulatory and Quality Procedures are followed.<br />• Depth understanding of our product lines and support management in the formulation of<br />sales strategies and goals.</p><p></p><p>ROLES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />• Achieve sales quota per plan.<br />• Implement comprehensive plans to increase market penetration in his/her area.<br />• Implement marketing strategies for product launches. Carry out market prospection.<br />• Provide technical support during EP procedures using Abbott equipment.<br />• Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies (pricing, quotes,<br />credit terms and expenses).<br />• Maintain a plan of regular visits to customers, in order to identify their needs and<br />business opportunities.<br />• Participate in local and international scientific congresses, giving all support to<br />customers.<br />• Maintain good knowledge/awareness of competitive products.<br />• Responsible to actively participate with Customer Service Department on getting the<br />orders from hospitals.</p><p>• Responsible for Public Tender Hospitals and provide timely Tenders Department with all <br />information required to submit offers of his/her area of responsibility.  <br />• Control and report consignments in Hospitals and own trunk stock to Customer Service <br />and Regional Sales Manager.  <br />• To report and keep his/her immediate Manager informed about his/her business progress <br />and assisting him/her to build the yearly operating plan. <br />• Plan his/her weekly travel schedule, informing his/her manager. <br />• Represent the company in professional manner with highest integrity, following Abbott <br />commercial practices policy and assuring all EMEA current Business Ethics, Regulatory <br />and Quality procedures are followed. <br />• Responsible for doing and filling CRF &amp; inventories of products into hospitals following <br />RA/QA procedures. <br />Responsibilities for all functions: <br />• This job description is intended to describe the general nature and level of work being <br />performed by people assigned to.
