[8OW] ETL DATA ENGINEER (INFORMATICA + IICS)

<p>We are seeking an experienced IICS Developer to design, build, and support cloud-based data integrations and ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services. The ideal candidate combines hands-on IICS development experience with strong data engineering fundamentals, good stakeholder communication, and an operations mindset to support production integrations and onboarding of new data sources.</p> <p>Key responsibilities<br> • Design, develop, test and deploy data integration solutions using IICS (Cloud Data&#xa0;<br> Integration, Application Integration, Data Quality, Data Synchronization).<br> • Build ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and deliver data between cloud and onprem systems (SaaS, databases, data lakes, data warehouses).<br> • Implement secure and performant integration patterns using IICS mapping tasks,&#xa0;<br> mappings, tasks, and parameterization.<br> • Develop and maintain reusable templates, mappings, and components to accelerate&#xa0;<br> delivery.<br> • Collaborate with architects, data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders&#xa0;<br> to define integration requirements and data contracts.<br> • Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents; perform root cause analysis and&#xa0;<br> implement fixes.<br> • Automate deployments and CI/CD for IICS artifacts (Dev → Test → Prod), including&#xa0;<br> versioning, changelogs, and release notes.<br> • Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational runbooks for integrations.<br> • Enforce data quality rules and profiling; work with business to remediate data quality&#xa0;<br> issues.<br> • Prepare technical documentation: design documents, runbooks, data flow diagrams,&#xa0;<br> and support guides.<br> • Support platform governance: connectivity, security, access controls, best practices, and&#xa0;<br> cost optimization.</p><p>Required qualifications &amp; experience<br> • 6-8+ years of hands-on experience in data integration/ETL roles&#xa0;<br> • Strong hands-on experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) — Cloud&#xa0;<br> Data Integration and Application Integration strongly preferred.<br> • Strong experience in SQL with the ability to read and enhance medium to high complexity&#xa0;<br> SQL code.<br> • Deep understanding of data modelling concepts (Star Schema, Medallion architecture)&#xa0;<br> ETL/ELT concepts, mapping designs, pushdown optimization, and performance tuning.<br> • Experience integrating with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), cloud data stores&#xa0;<br> (Databricks), and SaaS APIs (Salesforce, Workday, etc.).<br> • Familiarity with JSON, XML, REST/SOAP APIs, and data serialization formats.<br> • SQL expertise for transformation, validation, and performance tuning.<br> • Experience with source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation.<br> • Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in production environments.<br> • Excellent communication skills and ability to work across cross-functional teams.<br> &#xa0;</p><p>&#xa0;</p> <p>Preferred / nice-to-have<br> • Informatica Cloud / Cloud Data Integration certification.<br> • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter and migration experience to IICS.<br> • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native storage (S3, ADLS).<br> • Experience with data warehouse platforms and ELT patterns.<br> • Understanding of data governance, metadata management and GDPR / data privacy&#xa0;<br> controls</p>
