PRODUCT MANAGER (SETAPP)

macpaw
Full-timemid

Job description

Jira ticket We are looking for a Product Manager to join the team behind Setapp — MacPaw’s curated platform that provides access to a premium ecosystem of vetted tools for macOS, iOS, and the web. Your primary focus will be analyzing and optimizing the entire customer journey from discovery to successful product usage, uncovering new monetization opportunities, and leading cross-functional initiatives to grow Setapp's ecosystem. In this role, you will: • Audit and optimize the full user journey across the web marketplace and application — identifying friction points, gaps in instrumentation, and highest-impact opportunities to help customers seamlessly discover, purchase, and activate products. • Manage the Entitlement product domain, taking full ownership of license issuance, activation logic, user balances, and streamlining post-purchase access. • Define and drive success metrics for your area, focusing on product funnels: Acquisition, Activation, Conversion, Success Rate, and Support Ticket Reduction. • Build strong relationships and establish a working rhythm with cross-functional teams, collaborating closely on a daily basis with Marketing, Analytics, Customer Support, and other product teams within the ecosystem. • Design and validate hypotheses aimed at enhancing monetization, optimizing current flows, and discovering additional revenue channels. • Drive autonomous project planning three steps ahead, translating high-level quarterly goals and product strategy into actionable roadmaps and clear Jira documentation. Skills you’ll need to bring: • 4+ years of product management experience with a proven track record in B2C products. • Deep UX sensibility with a strong ability to spot where users drop off and prioritize fixes based on business impact. • Data-driven mindset with comfort in funnel analysis, metric interpretation, and hypothesis design. • Strategic thinking and maturity to autonomously map user journeys and set direction for an area. • Ability to build relationships and establish a smooth working rhythm with cross-functional and service teams. • Strong structural skills in documenting processes, managing backlogs, and transparently tracking progress. • At least an Upper-Intermediate level of English and fluent Ukrainian. As a plus: • Experience with macOS or desktop applications. • Experience with marketplace or catalog products. • Familiarity with subscription billing flows.
