SENIOR/ADVANCED PROJECT MANAGER- CIVIL

As a Senior/Advanced Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing projects and work streams within the Civil & Construction division. You will also manage the process of new business development and project management activities to ensure that all projects are executed efficiently. Requirements • Responsible for the management of project and construction activities in alignment with the ICASA, SABIC Standard, National Construction Code of South Africa (Codes) and other similar contracts • Manages a team of Project Managers, Senior Project Engineers and drafters to ensure the achievement of project schedule, contract or regulatory compliance, safety, health and environment objectives. • Coordinates, delegates and monitors the implementation of site-specific planning and/or design activities. • Defines, controls and monitors all project-related projects resources and budgets. • Work with design professionals to ensure all design issues have been addressed, including commercial, safety, and environmental requirements. • Provides project support, execution, and communication of policies, plans, and procedures. • Trenching on public roads • Reinstatements • SABS standards know-how • Way leave the application process • ICASA regulatory requirements • Fibre cable installation and testing • Site Surveys • Civils Testing can include the following: • Dynamic Cone Penetration (DCP) Testing • Duct Integrity Test (DIT) • Continuity TestSponge test • Pressure test Qualifications • Registration with a relevant professional body (essential) • A relevant Degree/Diploma and Project Management Registration or Project Management qualification (essential) • A minimum of 8 years experience as a Project Manager (essential)
