Position: Senior Travel Agent Location: Remote (Portugal) or Hybrid (Lisbon at the candidate's discretion) Employment type: Full-time Remuneration: Competitive base salary We are seeking a Senior Travel Agent to deliver exceptional, personalised travel support to our clients. This role involves assisting travellers with all aspects of their journey, from standard platform queries to last-minute travel emergencies while maintaining a high standard of professionalism and service quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, providing insights and feedback to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience. Key Responsibilities • Provide world-class, personalized assistance to travelers, ensuring smooth and efficient service. • Handle inquiries related to travel bookings, itineraries, and technical issues with professionalism and empathy. • Stay up to date with travel industry trends and platform updates to ensure accurate and timely support. • Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities for process and product improvements. • Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues across global teams. • Meet and exceed performance metrics and KPIs. Requirements • Native or fluent in English (C1 level) , both written and spoken. • Previous experience in customer service , ideally within the travel or hospitality sector . • Hands-on experience with GDS systems (Sabre, Amadeus, or Galileo) mandatory . • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on personalized service. • Goal-oriented and metrics-driven mindset. • Proficiency with customer support and communication tools such as Gmail, Zendesk, Slack, and Salesforce . • Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends (rotating shifts between 07:00 and 22:00, Monday to Sunday). • Tech-savvy, adaptable, and a strong team player.
