Job description
The Oracle Forms/Reports Developer will be responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and incident response and troubleshooting of departmental applications that are developed using Oracle Forms 11g and 12c.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain business applications using Oracle Forms and Reports 11g/12c.
• Resolves incidents that are reported in production applications.
• Liaise with users to refine requirements.
• Make application coding modifications to support changes requested by the business.
• Assist in upgrading to the latest version of Oracle Developer Tools and Database
• Complete Statements Of Work estimates based on requirements submitted by the business.
• Complete Solution Proposals for large enhancements.
• Perform system design work.
• Perform system testing prior to releasing changes for user acceptance testing.
• Perform implementation and release planning.
• Make application coding modifications to support changes requested by the business.
• Ensure system documentation is up to date
Requirements:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience working with Oracle Database, Forms/Reports and PL/SQL programming language.
• Proven experience in developing and maintaining Oracle Forms/Reports applications.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, data reporting, and data modeling.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Oracle Forms and Reports Tools
• Proficiency PL/SQL and SQL.
• Familiarity with Oracle Application Server configuration as it pertains to maintaining Oracle Forms/Reports applications
• Familiarity with Java, C#, Microsoft Access
Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Analytical skills – developing or modifying software to better accommodate a business process
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
