Job description

Job Duties: • Act as a sales and VOC driver for TriLink Biotechnologies for novel nucleotides, amidites and oligonucleotides by identifying, developing, and implementing key growth activities to support revenue goals for customer acquisition and adoption • Utilize and manage appropriate internal resources (personnel) to address client issues and move deals forward to closure. • Excel at identifying and selling to key stakeholders in complex sales situations leading to rapid closure of business/projects. • Develop high level, strategic relationships to catalyze the sales cycle/process via visits to strategic customer accounts and actively drive the development of new discovery and advanced application accounts. • Develop deep knowledge of RUO and preclinical clients and sales stages leading to recurring accurate forecasting of sales. • Using Voice of Customer (VOC) to contribute to the development of marketing strategies and tactics to support sales objectives. • Professionally and proactively communicate with external and internal customers. Work with internal teams to create customer facing documents of the highest professional level and accuracy. • Maintain accurate and up to date details in CRM software to track opportunities through the sales cycle. • Participate and contribute to forecasting activities and discussions. • Attend key conferences, meetings in oligonucleotide, nucleic acid therapeutics, and diagnostics sector. • Performs other duties and functions as assigned. Job Qualifications: • Degree in Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry. An advanced degree is preferred. Minimum of 5+ years in relevant areas with commercial experience in nucleotide, oligonucleotide, sequencing and/or synthetic genomics sales and/or business development. • A firm understanding of diagnostics and genomics space with special attention to sequencing technologies, and genome synthesis. • B2B sales experience required. • Strong ability to work independently and strong indirect leadership capabilities, particularly in influencing and motivating teams to achieve group goals. • Proven track record of demonstrated capability in a broad range of areas including, but not limited to business development, marketing, and sales. • Excellent computer software skills with a demonstrable expertise in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SFDC. • Proficiency with verbal and written communication in English. • Excellent organizational, analytical, strategic, and interpersonal skills.
