Position Overview
The Chief Talent Officer is responsible for leading the organization's end-to-end talent strategy, including talent acquisition, talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and workforce capability building. The role ensures the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-performing talent aligned with current and future business needs. The CTO plays a critical role in building a strong talent pipeline and enabling long-term organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
•
Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy aligned with business objectives.
•
Lead workforce planning and identify future talent needs across the organization.
•
Build scalable talent pipelines for critical and high-growth roles.
Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding
•
Oversee global recruitment strategies and talent acquisition operations.
•
Strengthen employer branding to attract high-quality candidates.
•
Improve hiring efficiency, quality of hire, and time-to-fill metrics.
Talent Management & Succession Planning
•
Design and implement talent management frameworks across all levels.
•
Lead succession planning for critical leadership and business roles.
•
Identify and develop high-potential employees (HiPos).
Learning & Leadership Development
•
Build leadership development programs and capability-building initiatives.
•
Drive continuous learning and upskilling across the organization.
•
Partner with business leaders to develop future-ready skills.
Performance & Career Development
•
Oversee performance management systems and talent review processes.
•
Support career pathing, mobility, and internal promotion strategies.
•
Foster a culture of continuous feedback and growth.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)
•
Promote inclusive hiring practices and workforce diversity initiatives.
•
Ensure equitable talent processes and career development opportunities.
•
Support inclusive leadership development programs.
Talent Analytics & Insights
•
Use talent analytics to inform strategic workforce decisions.
•
Monitor key metrics such as attrition, engagement, internal mobility, and hiring performance.
•
Provide insights and recommendations to executive leadership.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
•
Partner with HR, business leaders, and executives to align talent strategies.
•
Support organizational transformation and restructuring initiatives.
•
Align talent initiatives with business growth and operational needs.
Leadership & Capability Building
•
Lead and mentor talent acquisition and talent management teams.
•
Build a high-performance, data-driven talent function.
•
Strengthen HR capability across business units.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field; MBA preferred.
•
12–15+ years of experience in talent acquisition, talent management, HR leadership, or organizational development roles.
•
Proven experience building talent strategies in complex or fast-growing organizations.
•
Strong understanding of workforce planning, leadership development, and HR systems.
