Job Title: TRIRIGA Business Analyst Job Overview: A Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in an organization by analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve business objectives. The job description for a Business Analyst may vary depending on the industry and specific organizational needs, but generally includes the following responsibilities and qualifications: Responsibilities: • Requirements Gathering: • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and requirements. • Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to collect and analyze information. Process Mapping: • Document and model existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. • Design and propose optimized processes that align with organizational goals. • Documentation: • Prepare detailed and clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows. • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle. • Communication: • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT or development teams to ensure a clear understanding of requirements. • Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to various audiences, including management. • Testing and Validation: • Develop test plans and test cases to validate that the implemented solutions meet business requirements. • Collaborate with quality assurance teams during testing phases. • Change Management: • Assist in the implementation of changes by providing support, training, and documentation to end-users. • Monitor and evaluate the impact of changes on business processes. • Continuous Improvement: • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and innovation. • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Qualifications: • Education: • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications can be advantageous. Experience: • 5+ Years as a seasoned business analyst working on Enterprise Software Implementation projects • Experience with IBM TRIRIGA and has exposure to IBM TRIRIGA Facilities Condition Assessment Model Highly Preferred • Analytical Skills:: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools, data modeling, and project management methodologies. Knowledge of relevant programming languages and databases is often beneficial. • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the industry and business domain in which the organization operates. • Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders. • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and project requirements. • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and solve complex business problems.
