SENIOR CORPORATE TRANSACTIONS ATTORNEY

A growing national law firm with a collaborative and entrepreneurial culture is seeking a New York–barred Corporate Attorney to join its New York office . This role is ideal for an attorney who enjoys serving as a trusted day-to-day advisor to businesses rather than focusing exclusively on large, traditional M&A transactions. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with owner-managed and growth-oriented companies , providing practical legal guidance across a broad range of corporate matters. Key Responsibilities • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements • Advise clients on corporate governance and general corporate matters • Assist with entity formation and structuring • Support mergers and acquisitions transactions • Provide ongoing counsel to businesses in an outside general counsel capacity • Work directly with clients to deliver practical, business-focused legal advice Qualifications • Admission to the New York Bar required • Approximately 5+ years of corporate law experience (candidates with additional experience are welcome) • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills • Excellent attention to detail and sound legal judgment • Comfortable working directly with clients and managing day-to-day advisory matters Compensation & Platform • Bonus opportunities available The firm offers a collaborative, entrepreneurial platform with sophisticated clients, meaningful client interaction, and opportunities for long-term professional growth.
