SENIOR BACKEND ENGINEER (RUBY ON RAILS)

The Role As a Senior Backend Engineer (RoR) , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that power our trading and crypto platforms. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions that enhance user experiences and expand our global reach. Key Responsibilities • Develop & Optimize : Build and maintain scalable backend services that support trading operations. • Architect & Innovate : Design system architectures and propose innovative solutions for backend infrastructure. • Enhance Trading Systems : Deliver real-time, reliable trading information streams for customers. • Expand Global Reach : Develop and scale our retail trading products to new regions and markets . • Solve Complex Challenges : Identify and resolve technical issues in a large-scale, high-traffic backend environment. • Ensure Security & Performance : Implement best practices for scalability, security, and optimization . • Collaborate & Lead : Work closely with DevOps & Infra teams to improve the long-term technology stack. • Own & Document : Take ownership of projects and maintain clear documentation of implemented code and features. What Were Looking For • Experienced backend developer with a passion for building first-class products • Strong proficiency in Ruby (experience with other languages is a plus) • Experience with Postgres, Redis, Kafka • Understanding of financial systems, blockchain, or trading platforms (a plus) • Ability to handle scalability, security, and performance optimizations • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage conflicting stakeholder requirements • Open to new technologies and experimentation with innovative solutions This is an opportunity to build and scale next-gen trading and blockchain solutions.
