About the Role We are seeking an experienced Satellite and Payload System Test Authority to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of system-level testing for advanced satellite and payload communication systems. In this role, you will oversee the validation and integration of satellite platforms, payloads, and ground systems to ensure mission readiness and performance. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in satellite communications, systems engineering, and integration testing across LEO, MEO, or GEO satellite programs. Key Responsibilities • Lead system-level testing, validation, and verification activities for satellite and payload communication systems. • Develop and execute test strategies, procedures, and plans for satellite and payload integration. • Support the integration of space and ground segment systems throughout the project lifecycle. • Analyze system performance and troubleshoot hardware, software, and communication issues during testing. • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure successful system integration and mission readiness. • Support flight software integration, satellite database validation, and operational testing. • Develop automation tools and scripts using Python or other scripting languages to improve testing efficiency. • Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and engineering recommendations. Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • 10+ years of relevant experience in digital communications within the space industry. • Experience with LEO, MEO, and/or GEO satellite communication systems . • Strong understanding of: • Phased Array Antenna systems with multiple active elements • Digital modulation techniques, signal processing, and networking • Space and ground segment architecture, specification, and integration • Flight Software and Satellite Database concepts • Proficiency with Python or other scripting languages. Preferred Qualifications • Experience leading system integration, verification, and validation activities for satellite or payload systems. • Experience supporting satellite communications, payload development, or mission operations. • Knowledge of automated test frameworks and systems engineering best practices. • Strong leadership, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
