GOVERNMENT COMPLIANCE FINANCIAL ANALYST

Accountabilities: • Support government audits and internal inquiries by gathering, validating, and analyzing documentation in line with contractual and regulatory requirements, while coordinating responses with DCAA and internal stakeholders. • Assist in preparing incurred cost submissions, financial reports, and supporting documentation for audits, cost proposals, and business system reviews. • Perform financial reconciliations, data validation, and monthly cost monitoring to ensure accuracy and timely corrections in accounting systems. • Apply FAR, CAS, and internal policies to evaluate cost allowability, compliance, and financial integrity across reporting processes. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research cost issues, organizational changes, and accounting practices impacting compliance. • Maintain effective communication with government representatives and internal stakeholders while supporting ongoing training and special projects as needed. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. • 0–2 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or government contracting environments. • Understanding or exposure to government compliance frameworks such as FAR and CAS is highly desirable. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills with the ability to manage deadlines effectively. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Familiarity with systems such as Costpoint, Cognos, or OnBase is a plus. • Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and present findings confidently when needed.
