BACKEND DEVELOPER

Accountabilities: • Design and implement multi-file backend coding tasks involving bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and test generation. • Write clear and structured technical specifications along with reference implementations. • Develop and extend unit and integration test suites using modern testing frameworks. • Review peer-generated tasks to ensure correctness, realism, and alignment with requirements. • Identify edge cases, ambiguities, and potential failure scenarios in complex codebases. • Contribute to production-realistic engineering scenarios that reflect real-world backend systems. • Ensure consistency between specifications, implementations, and expected outputs across tasks. Requirements: • 3–7 years of professional software engineering experience in backend or full-stack development roles. • Strong proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, with working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go. • Advanced English proficiency (written) for technical communication and documentation. • Experience working with production systems and large, multi-file codebases. • Strong familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, or Go testing tools. • Proven experience in debugging, refactoring, and performing production migrations. • Ability to perform detailed code reviews and provide structured technical feedback. • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in a remote environment.
