Job description

Accountabilities: • Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients in the logistics and freight space, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and long-term partnership growth. • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, and strategic outreach to expand the customer base. • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, pipeline development, negotiation, and deal closure. • Meet and exceed sales activity targets, including call volume, pipeline progression, and revenue goals. • Collaborate closely with logistics coordinators to ensure smooth freight execution and alignment between sales commitments and operational delivery. • Continuously monitor market trends and client needs to identify new business opportunities and growth areas. Requirements: • 3–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the logistics, freight brokerage, or 3PL industry. • Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in a competitive, target-driven environment. • Strong cold-calling, prospecting, and negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining strong performance and accountability. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and long-term client relationships. • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on delivering value and exceeding client expectations. • High level of resilience, adaptability, and comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
