SENIOR SAP ABAP DEVELOPER (WITH FIORI/UI5)

Senior SAP ABAP Developer (with SAP Fiori and SAPUI5) — an experienced technical specialist role focused on delivering high-quality SAP S/4HANA extensions and integrations. The person in this role will apply advanced ABAP Objects expertise, develop and expose data via CDS Views and OData services, and implement SAP Fiori/UI5 solutions. A strong functional understanding of SAP FI is required. German language proficiency at least at B2 level is essential. Responsibilities • Design, develop and maintain ABAP solutions using ABAP Objects (ABAP OO) for SAP S/4HANA landscapes. • Implement and optimize Core Data Services (CDS Views) and OData services to support frontend applications and integrations. • Develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and integrate them with SAP Launchpad and backend services. • Apply SAP extension techniques such as BAdIs and enhancement frameworks to implement customer-specific requirements. • Perform frontend and backend debugging, troubleshooting and performance tuning across SAP components. • Collaborate with functional teams, with particular focus on SAP FI processes, to translate requirements into technical designs. • Support interface development including OData, REST, SOAP, RFC, BAPI and IDoc where applicable. • Contribute to technical design reviews, code quality assurance, and documentation of development deliverables. Qualifications • Minimum 10 years of SAP ABAP development experience. • Very strong knowledge of ABAP Objects (ABAP OO). • Hands-on project experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations or migrations. • In-depth expertise in CDS Views and OData Services. • Practical experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5 development. • Experience integrating applications with SAP Launchpad. • Solid knowledge of SAP extension techniques (BAdIs, Enhancements). • Proven capability in frontend and backend debugging. • Strong functional understanding of SAP FI (mandatory). • German language skills at minimum B2 level. • Nice-to-have: experience with interface development (OData, REST, SAP BTP, SOAP, RFC, BAPI, IDoc), Eclipse / ABAP Development Tools (ADT), Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager – Focused Build, and SAP RE-FX (Flexible Real Estate Management). • Relevant technical certification or equivalent professional experience is advantageous.
