INVESTMENT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving operational challenges, and is passionate about delivering exceptional service.</p><p><strong>Main Responsibilities:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the end-to-end processing of securities transactions and settlements.</li><li>Ensure accurate booking and accounting of transactions within client portfolios.</li><li>Monitor and prioritize operations based on risk, deadlines, transaction value, and client impact.</li><li>Perform trade matching and reconcile transactions with counterparties and custodians.</li><li>Manage settlement instructions and follow up on pending transactions to ensure timely execution.</li><li>Monitor cash and securities positions, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items.</li><li>Ensure operational controls are executed effectively, with proper documentation and audit readiness.</li><li>Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate operational risks.</li><li>Contribute to process improvements, system enhancements, and efficiency initiatives.</li></ul> <p><strong>What We're Looking For:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in <strong>securities operations, settlements, asset servicing, or transaction processing</strong> within a banking or financial services environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of financial markets, securities products, and post-trade activities.</li><li><strong>Proficiency in English (mandatory).</strong></li><li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong focus on risk and control.</li><li>Ability to manage priorities effectively while maintaining high levels of accuracy.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.</li></ul> <p>(<strong>Hybrid work</strong>, with 2/3 days of work in the office in&#xa0;<strong>LISBON</strong>&#xa0;per week)</p><p><strong>If you're passionate about financial operations, thrive under pressure, and are ready to make an impact in a high-performing securities team, we'd love to hear from you.</strong></p>
