Job description

<p>**Sales &amp; Revenue Management**</p><ul><li>Deliver sales in accordance with revenue budgets and forecasts for assigned customer portfolio</li><li>Prospect new customers in line with Oterra strategy to expand portfolio and increase market share</li><li>Drive customers' product portfolio with focus on innovation, sustainability and profitability</li><li>Monitor customer sales trends and implement corrective actions as required</li><li>Forecast customer needs and collaborate with Operations to manage supply appropriately</li></ul><p>**Account Management**</p><ul><li>Maintain and develop business with existing customers whilst converting opportunities with new prospects</li><li>Map individual customers within portfolio (sites, production, people, opportunities) and build multi-level contacts</li><li>Plan and execute customer activities including visits, trials, seminars and innovation days</li><li>Maintain customer accounts in Salesforce, logging all activities and meeting recaps</li><li>Support customer complaints and resolve routine issues; inform management of significant developments</li><li>Develop and maintain relevant industry networks on a local basis</li><li>Discuss and obtain sign-off on pricing strategies with relevant Manager</li></ul><p>**Business Planning &amp; Market Intelligence**</p><ul><li>Develop customer plans for main accounts in collaboration with Manager and broader Oterra strategy</li><li>Monitor market dynamics, competitive landscape and product trends; screen for new opportunities</li><li>Proactively identify and communicate market and customer insights to colleagues and management</li></ul><p>**Reporting &amp; Team Collaboration**</p><ul><li>Provide timely reports and forecasts to management; review progress monthly with Manager</li><li>Monitor account receivables for own customer portfolio in alignment with the accounts receivable team</li><li>Demonstrate positive conduct and effort as a key sales team member; share learnings proactively</li><li>Conduct business activities in accordance with Oterra policies and applicable laws and regulations</li></ul> <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in technical career</li><li>Minimum of 5 years sales experience in food or beverage ingredients</li><li>A knowledge of selling colours and/or applications experience would be extremely advantageous.</li><li>Ability to communicate and coordinate activities at a cross regional and/or global level within Oterra;&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to drive the sales process;&#xa0;</li><li>Fluency in Microsoft Office programs a must;</li><li>Fluency in Salesforce advantageous;</li><li>The ability to manage complex issues and work in cross-functional teams;&#xa0;</li><li>Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach;</li><li>Strong written and spoken communication skills.&#xa0;</li></ul>
