SENIOR JAVA ENGINEER

As a Senior Software Engineer , you will join our Kraków-based team to work on evergreening legacy Java applications and supporting production systems. You will build modern Java microservices , improve observability and reliability, and use AI-driven tools like GitHub Copilot to accelerate delivery while maintaining high standards of code quality and security. What you'll be doing • Proactively engage in service management activities (Incident, Problem, and Service Delivery) • Modernize and maintain legacy systems using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) • Collaborate with Product Owners, IT specialists, and Architects to design scalable solutions • Analyse technical and non-technical requirements; provide service-oriented recommendations • Design and build robust, secure microservices using modern Agile methods and DevOps principles • Develop observability tools for monitoring, alerting, incident detection, and performance optimization • Drive CI/CD automation and ensure release readiness across environments Note: Detailed project information will be shared during the recruitment process.
