Accountabilities:
The Territory Manager will be responsible for achieving sales objectives, managing territory growth, and developing strong relationships with customers and distribution partners. Key responsibilities include:
• Achieve assigned sales targets for hardware, disposable products, and related solutions within the designated territory.
• Develop and execute short-term and long-term territory business plans to maximize sales opportunities and market penetration.
• Identify new business opportunities, maintain an active sales pipeline, and convert prospects into long-term customer relationships.
• Manage and strengthen partnerships with distributors, manufacturer representatives, and key industry stakeholders.
• Build relationships with organizations across industrial, manufacturing, safety, government, and public safety sectors.
• Deliver product demonstrations, customer training, and in-service education to support adoption and customer success.
• Maintain accurate customer records, account profiles, sales activities, and territory information using CRM systems.
• Prepare regular sales forecasts, expense reports, and performance updates for leadership review.
• Track and maintain demonstration and evaluation equipment inventory, ensuring all assigned assets are properly managed and maintained.
• Participate in trade shows, industry events, and strategic projects to increase market awareness and business opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and professional standards while representing the organization in the field.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings strong territory sales experience, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven ability to grow business through distribution and customer partnerships. Required qualifications include:
• College or university degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of sales or distribution experience, preferably within industrial, safety, public safety, healthcare, or related markets.
• Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a territory independently.
• Strong consultative selling skills with a customer-focused and strategic approach.
• Experience developing distributor relationships and managing channel partnerships.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and territory management abilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to create business plans, manage pipelines, and analyze sales performance data.
• Basic computer skills and experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Professional, ethical, and self-motivated approach to sales.
• Bilingual proficiency in French and English required.
• Must reside in the Greater Montreal area.
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to work in Canada required.
• Ability and willingness to travel approximately 70% of the time.
