Job description
Accountabilities:
The role is responsible for maintaining platform reliability, improving operational processes, and driving automation across cloud infrastructure and production environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, highly available systems using cloud infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, investigate issues, and ensure platform uptime and reliability.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads using Docker.
• Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related technologies.
• Implement infrastructure automation and deployment processes using Helm Charts and other tools.
• Support distributed systems including Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Hadoop/HDFS environments.
• Configure and manage Cloudflare services for performance optimization, security, and traffic management.
• Establish monitoring, alerting, and observability solutions using tools such as Grafana.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment practices, system architecture, and reliability standards.
• Lead production incident response, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and implement preventive improvements.
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce operational effort and improve service availability.
• Ensure infrastructure follows security, compliance, and operational best practices.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has strong experience in site reliability engineering, cloud infrastructure, and distributed systems, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical environments.
• 6–12 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Solid Linux system administration experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and troubleshooting.
• Experience managing distributed technologies such as Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Hadoop ecosystems.
• Working knowledge of Hadoop/HDFS environments.
• Experience with Cloudflare services, including CDN, DNS management, and security configurations.
• Proficiency with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitHub and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with Kubernetes deployment workflows and Helm Charts.
• Strong understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability practices.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible is a plus.
• Knowledge of security and compliance practices in cloud environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
• Exposure to Databricks, ClickHouse, or ML Ops environments is an advantage.
