DATA PRODUCT OWNER

Accountabilities: • Build and evolve the roadmap for data products, ensuring alignment with business strategies and organizational objectives. • Define, monitor, and improve product success metrics, OKRs, and performance indicators. • Translate business needs into clear technical requirements for data engineering and technology teams. • Manage and prioritize product backlogs using agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. • Collaborate with Engineering, Analytics, and business teams to deliver high-value data solutions. • Monitor squad performance indicators and promote continuous improvement across product development processes. • Support data governance, security, quality, and compliance initiatives. • Facilitate agile ceremonies in partnership with agile teams and support effective collaboration. • Follow production deployments and ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout delivery cycles. • Promote a data-driven culture and encourage continuous evolution of data products. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. • 3–5 years of experience working as a Product Owner, Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar roles. • Experience managing data products focused on business needs and measurable outcomes. • Strong understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. • Experience with backlog prioritization, product management practices, and roadmap development. • Background in data projects, analytics, or data engineering environments. • Familiarity with modern data architectures such as Data Lakes, Data Mesh, or similar platforms is a plus. • Knowledge of OKRs, product metrics, and data-driven decision-making approaches. • Excellent communication skills with both technical teams and executive stakeholders. • Analytical, proactive, collaborative mindset with strong ownership and focus on results. • Knowledge of Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence applied to data, data governance, quality, or data cataloging is considered an advantage.
