SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER, (PYTHON, GENAI, MCP)

Accountabilities: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable integrations, microservices, and AI-powered automation solutions. You will take ownership of technical delivery, collaborate with multiple teams, and contribute to the evolution of internal platforms and engineering practices. • Own the architecture, development, delivery, and reliability of integrations and microservices using Python, Java, and/or TypeScript. • Build and enhance integration platforms that enable teams to connect systems, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency. • Design and implement AI-assisted automations, GenAI solutions, and MCP integrations to extend platform capabilities. • Develop backend services, APIs, and distributed systems that support reliable and scalable applications. • Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and deliver effective outcomes. • Collaborate with architects and engineers on design reviews, technical decisions, and engineering best practices. • Migrate and modernize existing integrations while ensuring system stability and performance. • Maintain high-quality engineering standards through code reviews, testing, monitoring, documentation, and incident response. • Mentor junior engineers and contractors through technical guidance, design discussions, and collaborative development practices. • Research and evaluate emerging AI models, tools, and techniques to identify opportunities for innovation. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a highly experienced software engineer with strong backend expertise, a passion for AI technologies, and the ability to build production-grade systems. You should have experience working with distributed architectures, automation, and modern cloud-based engineering environments. • 8+ years of software engineering experience, with significant experience building and maintaining production systems. • 2+ years of hands-on experience designing AI integrations, including LLM-based automation, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). • Strong proficiency in backend development using Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar technologies. • Experience designing and developing microservices, APIs, integrations, and distributed systems. • Strong understanding of messaging systems, data streaming technologies, and storage solutions. • Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL optimization and database performance considerations. • Strong knowledge of backend architecture, cloud platforms, and AWS services. • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools during development and successfully deliver solutions from prototype to production. • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing technical decisions. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. • Experience with financial systems, ERP platforms, or Oracle Cloud products is a plus. • Familiarity with AI agents, MCP implementations, Claude-based solutions, containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred. • Contributions to open-source projects, technical publications, or industry speaking engagements are considered an advantage.
