Job description

Accountabilities • Serve as the organization's primary subject matter expert on US and international tax matters, providing technical leadership across the business. • Lead, mentor, and review the work of a regional team of senior and analyst-level tax professionals, supporting their development and performance. • Advise clients on complex domestic and cross-border tax matters while participating in prospective client discussions and ongoing engagements. • Design, maintain, and optimize international tax structures to support compliance and strategic tax planning. • Identify opportunities to improve operational workflows and lead initiatives focused on process optimization and automation. • Collaborate with product, operations, and cross-functional teams to enhance service scalability and delivery efficiency. • Contribute strategic insights that strengthen the firm's tax capabilities and support long-term organizational growth. Requirements • Minimum of 5–6 years of professional experience in taxation, with significant exposure to US and international or cross-border tax matters. • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing. • Demonstrated experience leading, mentoring, or reviewing the work of tax professionals at both analyst and senior levels. • Strong client-facing experience with the ability to communicate technical tax concepts confidently and professionally. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. • Proven track record of driving process improvements and identifying operational efficiencies. • Experience collaborating across cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment. • Advanced Spanish language proficiency is preferred. • Previous experience supporting startup or technology-sector clients is an advantage. • Interest in or experience applying automation and artificial intelligence within professional services is highly desirable.
