SENIOR SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT - APAC
Full-Cycle | Pre-Sales & Post-Sales | Sydney Based | In-Office 2-3 Days a Week
How you will make an impact:
The Value Engineering team is made up of motivated, tech-savvy communicators – team players across Solutions Consulting, Solutions Architecture, Value Consulting, and Demo Engineering who make an impact across the whole organization.
This is a full-cycle solutions role uniquely designed for the APAC market. Unlike our specialist pre-sales or post-sales positions in larger regions, this role spans the entire customer journey, working with prospects to win new business alongside our Account Executives and supporting existing customers as a trusted technical advisor through onboarding, adoption, and growth.
Roughly half your time will be spent pre-sales: running discovery, building and delivering tailored platform demonstrations, and partnering with AEs to close enterprise deals. The other half will be spent in post-sales: providing technical guidance and strategic support to a named book of customers as well as on a project basis across the broader APAC base.
APAC has delivered the highest growth and is our top performing region for the last 2 years. You'll join an existing APAC solutions team and work alongside a Principal Solutions Consultant already embedded in the market, with strong support from global Sales, CS, and Product functions. You'll carry real ownership of your deals and customer relationships – this isn't a supporting role – but you won't be going it alone.
How you will make a difference:
Pre-Sales: New Business
- Partner with Account Executives throughout the sales cycle to assess prospect challenges, think critically to devise solutions, and strategize how to present that information
- Generate excitement around the Iterable platform by delivering compelling demonstrations and technical presentations tailored to diverse audiences
- Investigate prospects' technical landscape to provide seamless integration recommendations
- Support prospects from initial scoping through to successful handoff to our post-sales teams
- Play a major role in helping to close SaaS deals in the APAC market
- Have the opportunity to get onsite with prospects when warranted
Post-Sales: Customer Expansions & Implementation of New Business
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to a named book of customers, as well as supporting the broader APAC base on a project basis
- Become a subject matter expert across all aspects of Iterable – APIs, integrations, mobile SDKs, data flows and Iterable’s own AI models
- Present solutions and opportunities to utilise Iterable more effectively, translating customer use cases into account strategies
- Identify and articulate upsell and expansion opportunities by analysing customers' tech stacks and future initiatives
- Resolve complex technical challenges involving advanced marketing architectures
- Work closely with Customer Success Managers to advocate for customer needs and drive successful outcomes
Across Both Motions
- Liaise with internal teams to deliver new features and drive adoption of the Iterable platform
- Contribute product feedback and field insights to influence the Iterable roadmap
- Continually invest in your own career through opportunities that enable you to grow professional interests that coincide with the growth of our organisation
We are looking for people who:
- 4+ years in a technical pre-sales and/or post-sales solutions role, preferably in SaaS and/or MarTech
- Demonstrated ability to operate across both pre-sales and post-sales motions, or strong depth in one with genuine appetite to grow into the other
- Technically curious and self-motivated – passionate about learning and applying new skills
- Deep knowledge in any of the following areas, particularly in the MarTech/AdTech ecosystem: APIs, JSON, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, Python, SQL
- Experience with LLM platforms such as Claude Code or Cursor
- Familiarity with mobile-specific development (Swift, Java, Kotlin, React Native) is a plus
- Demonstrable strong verbal and written communication skills – equally confident presenting to a CMO and whiteboarding with a developer
- Team player willing to constantly iterate and drive results
- Based in Sydney, Australia, with willingness to travel across APAC for customer on-sites, conferences, and team events (~25%)
- Experience in marketing automation or email marketing, cloud-based platforms, or custom integration work is a bonus
