<p>We are seeking a <strong>Principal Consultant & AI/ML Lead</strong> to head our Generative AI initiatives and serve as the core Subject Matter Expert (SME) for our enterprise service and consulting practice. In this strategic, client-facing role, you will lead the architectural design, advisory, and execution of high-impact AI agent ecosystems for our enterprise clients.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>1. Strategic AI Leadership & SME Advisory</p><ul><li><p>Act as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Generative AI, LLM reasoning patterns, and autonomous agent frameworks for Professional services and enterprise clients.</p></li><li><p>Translate complex business requirements from client stakeholders into rigorous technical blueprints, leading pre-sales technical discoveries and high-level architectural assessments.</p></li><li><p>Establish delivery playbooks and reusable patterns to standardize how our consulting firm deploys agentic workflows across different client industries.</p></li></ul><p>2. Core Agent Reference Architecture & Framework Design</p><ul><li><p>Own the technical vision for the core Go harness pattern, leveraging the Vertex AI Agent Development Kit (ADK) to build a robust, production-ready framework for agents.</p></li></ul><p>3. Per-Agent Specification & Delivery Oversight</p><ul><li><p>Lead the detailed design specifications for agents, establishing structural tool definitions (Function Calling), systemic prompt engineering, and input-context data models.</p></li><li><p>Define clear <strong>graduated-autonomy criteria</strong>, ensuring a balance between autonomous agent execution and human-in-the-loop (HITL) exception handling.</p></li><li><p>Establish robust distributed systems patterns, ensuring strict <strong>idempotency strategies</strong> and canonical event envelopes across bounded contexts.</p></li></ul><p>4. Evaluation, Safety, & Governance</p><ul><li><p>Design and implement a continuous <strong>shadow-mode evaluation harness</strong> to validate agent performance against live production data without triggering real-world side effects.</p></li><li><p>Set precision/recall thresholds and safety-critical misclassification test suites required for production graduation.</p></li><li><p>Partner with the client’s <strong>Agent Governance Board</strong> to advise on SOA tier classifications, model-version-pinning strategies, and continuous model/drift monitoring.</p></li><li><p><em>O</em>versee or directly build the initial shadow-mode Proof of Concept (PoC) for the first designated agent to accelerate project kickoff.</p></li></ul>
<ul><li><p><strong>Consulting & Client Leadership:</strong> Minimum 6 years to 12 years of proven experience working in a professional services or IT consulting firm, with a track record of leading technical delivery teams and managing senior client stakeholders (CTOs, VPs of Architecture).</p></li><li><p><strong>Production Agent Systems Expertise:</strong> Deep, hands-on experience deploying production-grade, multi-agent frameworks, LLM-backed reasoning loops (Gemini), and autonomous workflows.</p></li><li><p><strong>Google Cloud Ecosystem Mastery:</strong> Expert-level familiarity with the <strong>Vertex AI</strong> suite (Agent Engine, Agent Development Kit, Tuning, Vector Search) and hardened enterprise GCP security architectures (VPC Service Controls, IAM, Pub/Sub).</p></li><li><p><strong>Software Engineering:</strong> Advanced backend proficiency in <strong>Go (Golang)</strong> with a strong background in highly concurrent, distributed, and event-driven systems.</p></li><li><p><strong>Regulated AI Safety:</strong> Clear appreciation for operating within highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, public sector) where data compliance, deterministic auditing, and strict security perimeters are non-negotiable.</p></li></ul>
