FORWARD-DEPLOYED CREATIVE

Full-timemid

Job description

About Hexcoded: Hexcoded is an AI video studio: you should be able to make anything you can imagine. We're a small, fast-moving team building the tools that are reshaping how video, image, and audio get made — and we need someone to turn that capability into a relentless stream of video the internet can't look away from. About the role: A Forward-Deployed Creative is our version of the forward-deployed engineer: an elite short-form editor who sits with our clients. You take a fuzzy brief — “just make me something that pops” — and turn it into content they love, made inside HexCoded's tools and patched by hand where the product falls short. You own the relationship: you keep clients happy, you grow the account, and you're the one in the room when it's time to talk next steps. And every rough edge you hit becomes crisp feedback to our engineering team, so the product gets better every week. You are the loop between the client and the product. What you'll do • Make the work. Cut scroll-stopping short-form and ads using AI video + real actors, to a high craft bar. • Own your clients. Understand what they actually need, keep them delighted, and grow the relationship — retention, repeat work, upsell. Warm deals close in your room; our founder and marketing bring you the pipeline. (You won't be cold-prospecting.) • Close the loop with engineering. Turn everything that breaks or slows you down into clear, prioritized feedback. No coding needed — just clarity. You might be a fit if you've • Freelanced, run a small studio/agency, or grown your own content page or channel — so you've had to be great at the work and keep clients happy. • Got taste. Your short-form is genuinely good, and you can explain why it works. • Lived at the AI-video frontier — you know what shipped this month and how it changes your workflow. • Enjoyed being client-facing — you'd rather be in the room than behind it • This is a maker's role first. The client and commercial parts sit on top of real editing skill — not instead of it.
