<p class="font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal">Point C is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role reports to the Controller and will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of our financial data, accurate reporting, and compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, analyzing variances, and supporting audits. This role requires a strong ability to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide accurate financial insights to support decision-making.</p>
<h4 class="text-text-100 mt-2 -mb-1 text-base font-bold">Primary Responsibilities</h4>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Prepare and post journal entries (AJEs) and ensure proper classification of transactions.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Reconcile general ledger accounts to subsidiary records on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Perform account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, fixed assets, inventory, accruals, and prepaid expenses.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Assist in financial statement preparation, including account classifications and transactional coding.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Perform daily cash and bank reconciliations, recording corresponding journal entries.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Compile, code, and verify billing information to support revenue integrity.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Coordinate with operations and other departments to ensure accurate revenue and receivables reporting.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Assemble schedules and documentation for external auditors during annual audits.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Analyze budget-to-actual variances and summarize findings for management.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Contribute to process improvements and provide recommendations to strengthen internal controls.</li>

<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong knowledge of GAAP and general ledger accounting practices.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and accuracy.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience preparing financial statements and supporting external audits preferred.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Strong understanding of cash reconciliation and treasury management activity preferred.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Prior experience with ERP/accounting systems (Sage Intacct preferred).</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Experience with industry-specific platforms (e.g., Qiklink, VBA, TPA Stream) a plus.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li class="font-claude-response-body whitespace-normal break-words pl-2">Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and strong work ethic.</li>
</ul>

Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses, and merit increases.
