You'll work with clients across industries, tackle meaningful security challenges, and have opportunities to expand your expertise across the Microsoft Security ecosystem.</p> <p>Whether you're helping a client deploy Microsoft Defender, improve identity governance, or build a security operations strategy, your work will directly contribute to making organizations more secure.</p> <h1>What You'll Do</h1> <p>As a Microsoft Security Consultant, you'll work closely with clients and Quisitive team members to assess risk, design solutions, and implement security technologies across the Microsoft platform.</p> <h2>In this role, you will:</h2> <ul> <li>Partner with clients to understand their business objectives, security concerns, and risk management priorities.</li> <li>Assess Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud security environments and provide actionable recommendations for improvement.</li> <li>Design and implement Microsoft security solutions across identity, endpoint, threat protection, governance, compliance, and cloud security.</li> <li>Configure and support Microsoft Entra ID capabilities, including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Self-Service Password Reset (SSPR), Conditional Access, Privileged Identity Management (PIM), and Identity Governance.</li> <li>Deploy and optimize Microsoft Defender technologies, including Defender for Microsoft 365, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Defender XDR.</li> <li>Implement endpoint management and security controls using Microsoft Intune and Endpoint Manager.</li> <li>Build and improve security monitoring, analytics, alerting, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Log Analytics, and Kusto Query Language (KQL).</li> <li>Support data protection and compliance initiatives utilizing Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, and sensitivity labeling capabilities.</li> <li>Develop automation and operational efficiencies using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and related technologies.</li> <li>Deliver trusted advisory services while helping clients increase security maturity and operational readiness.</li> </ul> <h1>What You'll Bring</h1> <h2>Required Qualifications</h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in cloud security, Azure security, Microsoft 365 security, or related security consulting roles.</li> <li>Hands-on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft security technologies.</li> <li>Strong understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and identity security best practices.</li> <li>Experience with Microsoft Defender security solutions and threat protection technologies.</li> <li>Familiarity with Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Log Analytics, and security monitoring concepts.</li> <li>Knowledge of governance, compliance, data protection, and risk management practices.</li> <li>Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and business stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong consulting, client-facing, and relationship-building skills.</li> <li>Proven ability to manage priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced consulting environment.</li> <li>A collaborative mindset and a passion for learning and sharing knowledge.</li> </ul> <h1>Bonus Points If You Have</h1> <ul> <li>Experience working for a Microsoft partner, systems integrator, managed services provider, or security consulting organization.</li> <li>Expertise in Exchange, Active Directory, hybrid identity, or modernization projects.</li> <li>Advanced Microsoft Sentinel, detection engineering, incident response, or SOC experience.</li> <li>Experience with PowerShell automation, Microsoft Graph, or Azure Automation.</li> <li>Knowledge of Microsoft Purview, Information Protection, DLP, and data governance solutions.</li> <li>Experience with Zero Trust, vulnerability management, cloud security posture management, or network security.</li> <li>Microsoft certifications such as SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, SC-400, AZ-500, MS-102, or equivalent Microsoft security certifications.</li> </ul> <h1>What Success Looks Like</h1> <p>The most successful people at Quisitive are naturally curious, collaborative, and customer-focused.
