SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
Rockstar
mid
Job description
Rockstar is recruiting for a mobile-first digital product studio that turns ideas into extraordinary experiences. They are a team of dynamic and savvy professionals who know how to create killer digital products. Their lean structure and remote team mean they can move fast while still delivering top-notch technology and design.
About the Role
We're looking for a mid-level Social Media Manager to own social content for a portfolio of client accounts. You'll plan, create, schedule, and report on social content end to end — developing monthly content calendars, writing copy, producing creative assets, and turning performance data into clear client-facing reports. This is a part-time/contract role suited to someone who can manage multiple brands and deadlines independently.
What You'll Do
• Content planning: Develop and maintain monthly social content calendars for multiple client accounts, aligned to each client's brand voice, goals, and campaigns
• Copy & creative: Write platform-appropriate copy and produce creative assets (graphics, short-form video, stories) for each client
• Scheduling: Schedule and publish content across platforms using a social scheduling tool, ensuring accuracy and on-time delivery
• Reporting: Prepare monthly performance reports for each client, highlighting key metrics, trends, and recommendations to improve results
• Community & trends: Monitor accounts for engagement opportunities and flag timely trends or issues to the account team
What They're Looking For
• 3–5 years of hands-on social media management experience, ideally in an agency or multi-brand environment
• Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone across distinct brand voices
• Proficiency with design and creative tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut or similar)
• Experience with social scheduling platforms (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later, Buffer)
• Comfort with analytics — pulling platform data, interpreting it, and presenting it clearly to clients
• Excellent organization and time management; able to juggle multiple clients and deadlines without close supervision
• Working knowledge of current best practices across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X
Nice to Have
• Experience with paid social or boosting organic content
• Short-form video editing and on-trend content production skills
• Familiarity with client-facing communication and account management
Engagement Details
• Part-time or contract; hours flexible based on client load
• Fully remote
• Compensation commensurate with experience
