Turner & Townsend is looking for a Director- PMO to join our team. This individual will have strong leadership skills and proven track record of successfully manage scheduling on prior projects or programs.*Per client requirements, only US citizens may be considered for this opportunity.*Responsibilities:<ul><li>PMO Strategy & Governance<ul><li>Establish and lead the PMO framework, governance model, and operating structure for major aviation and infrastructure programs.</li><li>Define standards, processes, and controls across cost, schedule, risk, change, reporting, and document management.</li><li>Ensure alignment with client requirements, federal guidelines, and Turner & Townsend best practices.</li><li>SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.</li></ul></li><li>Program Controls Leadership<ul><li>Oversee integrated program controls, including cost management, scheduling, risk management, and performance reporting.</li><li>Ensure consistency and accuracy of program data, baselines, forecasts, and KPIs.</li><li>Lead development of program dashboards, executive reports, and performance insights.</li></ul></li><li>Risk, Change, and Decision Support<ul><li>Direct the program’s risk management framework, including identification, quantification, mitigation, and reporting.</li><li>Lead the change management process, ensuring disciplined evaluation, approval, and integration of changes.</li><li>Provide scenario analysis, decision support, and strategic recommendations to client leadership.</li></ul></li><li>Stakeholder Engagement & Executive Interface<ul><li>Serve as the primary PMO representative to client executives, governance boards, and delivery partners.</li><li>Present program performance, risks, and strategic insights in clear, concise executive formats.</li><li>Facilitate alignment across design, construction, commercial, and operational teams.</li></ul></li><li>Team Leadership & Capability Development<ul><li>Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary PMO team across controls, reporting, governance, and analytics.</li><li>Build capability within the PMO through training, coaching, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance.</li></ul></li></ul>Subject Matter Expertise<ul><li>Strategic thinker with the ability to shape and lead a high‑performing PMO.</li><li>Strong executive presence and communication skills.</li><li>Ability to drive alignment across complex stakeholder groups.</li><li>High judgment, analytical rigor, and a solutions‑oriented mindset.</li><li>Commitment to Turner & Townsend’s values of excellence, integrity, and client partnership.</li></ul> <ul><li>12+ years of experience in program management, PMO leadership, or program controls for major capital programs.</li><li>Proven experience in aviation, transportation, or large infrastructure delivery.</li><li>Strong expertise in governance, program controls, reporting, and risk/change management.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.</li><li>Exceptional communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.</li></ul>Preferred Experience:<ul><li>Experience with airport authorities, FAA programs, or federal capital delivery.</li><li>Background in design‑build, CMAR, progressive design‑build, or multi‑prime delivery environments.</li><li>Familiarity with enterprise PMO systems, cost management platforms, and scheduling tools.</li><li>Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, CCP, PSP, or equivalent.</li><li>Per client requirements, only US citizens may be considered for this opportunity.</li></ul> The salary range for this full-time role is $230K-$250K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary.
