We are looking for a communicative, hands-on Senior IT Professional to join their Hungarian team, working in close collaboration with the German headquarters to manage and support their Windows-based application landscape.
Job description
In this role, your time will be split 50% on Server Administration and 50% on Application Support .
•
Server & Application Administration: Maintain, update, and optimize the Windows-based server infrastructure and environment-specific configurations.
•
L2/L3 Application Support: Troubleshoot incoming tasks and tickets, analyze log files, and resolve client-side installation or configuration issues.
•
Daily Collaboration: Participate in daily team alignments to organize tasks, distribute responsibilities, and collaborate closely with business partners.
•
Project Participation: Assist in planning and executing server migrations and system lifecycle upgrades.
Requirements
•
Experience: 5–10 years of proven seniority in Windows Server administration and L2/L3 application support.
•
Languages: Fluent, professional English is a must.
•
Education: A university degree is NOT required —your real-world experience, problem-solving skills, and technical mindset are what truly matter.
•
Nice-to-have: Practical experience with Apache/Tomcat web servers, PowerShell scripting for automation, or any knowledge of the German language.
