Job description
Accountabilities:
The Staff Consultant, SAP Materials will be responsible for delivering high-quality SAP Materials solutions, supporting clients through transformation initiatives, and providing functional expertise throughout project lifecycles. The role requires strong consulting capabilities, technical understanding, and the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technology teams.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective SAP Materials solutions.
• Design, configure, and optimize SAP Materials Management processes to support business objectives.
• Lead functional discussions, workshops, and solution design activities with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance on SAP best practices, process improvements, and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and delivery of SAP solutions.
• Support issue resolution, testing activities, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge sharing across delivery teams.
• Identify opportunities to enhance solutions and create additional value for clients.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced SAP professional with strong functional expertise, consulting skills, and the ability to solve complex business challenges. You should be comfortable working with clients, leading discussions, and delivering scalable SAP solutions.
• Strong experience working with SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and related business processes.
• Proven experience in SAP implementation, configuration, support, or consulting roles.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Ability to gather requirements, design solutions, and translate business needs into SAP functionality.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead workshops, presentations, and client discussions effectively.
• Experience working in Agile or structured delivery environments.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
