Job description
Accountabilities:
The AIOps Engineer will support the development and execution of enterprise observability and event management strategies. This role focuses on improving operational efficiency through monitoring optimization, AI-driven automation, predictive analytics, and collaboration across technology teams.
• Assist in defining and implementing a comprehensive monitoring strategy covering metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, and reporting capabilities.
• Design and integrate modern observability and predictive analytics platforms to support AIOps initiatives.
• Apply AI and machine learning techniques to improve incident detection, forecasting, diagnosis, and automated resolution processes.
• Support event management improvements by leveraging automation and intelligent monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams, business stakeholders, production support teams, and end users to align monitoring objectives and requirements.
• Evaluate, recommend, and integrate monitoring tools and platforms with existing enterprise systems and processes.
• Develop and maintain service level agreements (SLAs), key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting frameworks to measure operational performance.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on using monitoring insights to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Contribute to monitoring and automation tool roadmaps by identifying opportunities for innovation and optimization.
• Work closely with product teams and operational groups to understand business needs and deliver scalable solutions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate has strong experience in monitoring, event management, observability, and IT operations, with the ability to work across complex enterprise technology environments.
• Strong background in monitoring, observability, and event management solutions.
• Hands-on experience with platforms such as SL1 and ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM).
• Understanding of AIOps concepts, including predictive analytics, automation, and AI-driven incident management.
• Experience working with multi-cloud environments and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Solid knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly incident, problem, and event management.
• Experience designing monitoring strategies across metrics, logs, traces, alerts, dashboards, and reporting.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate monitoring tools with existing enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify operational improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when working with technical teams, stakeholders, and business users.
• Ability to manage priorities, work independently, and contribute effectively in a remote environment.
