Job description
Accountabilities:
The Financial Treasury Accounting Analyst will support daily treasury activities by ensuring accurate cash management, financial reporting, reconciliation processes, and compliance with internal policies. The role requires strong organization, analytical thinking, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders to maintain efficient financial operations.
• Monitor daily cash positions and support short-term cash forecasting activities.
• Assist with processing wire transfers and maintaining accurate banking records.
• Prepare cash reports and support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close activities.
• Support account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure accurate financial records.
• Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts by gathering and analyzing inputs from various teams.
• Analyze key cash drivers, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and operating cash performance.
• Collaborate with finance teams to ensure smooth cash operations and timely completion of treasury activities.
• Support administration of travel and expense systems, including monitoring processes and maintaining accurate information.
• Assist with insurance-related activities, including renewals, claims documentation, and contract reviews.
• Help maintain compliance with treasury policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
• Manage follow-ups and communication on outstanding treasury-related tasks.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and support system enhancements.
• Contribute to ad hoc financial projects and operational activities as needed.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical capabilities and an interest in developing expertise in treasury operations and accounting. The role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to collaborate effectively with different teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in treasury, accounting, finance operations, or a related area.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage financial data accurately.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
• Ability to support cash management, reconciliations, and forecasting activities.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to identify discrepancies and support resolution of financial issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to learn new systems, processes, and treasury practices.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information professionally.
