SAP S/4HANA RECORD-TO-REPORT LEAD

Location: Remote Contract: B2B Working language: English Start date: 1 October 2026 Planned go-live: End of 2027 Overall programme timeline: Until 2031 Our client, a global FMCG company, is preparing the next regional phase of its SAP S/4HANA programme after the successful pilot and go-live in Poland. The upcoming rollout will cover two regions and several countries. We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Record-to-Report Lead to take ownership of the overall Finance design across general ledger accounting, financial closing, asset accounting, intercompany processes and reporting. Key responsibilities • Lead the end-to-end Record-to-Report workstream. • Own the solution design for General Ledger, Financial Close, Asset Accounting, intercompany accounting and financial reporting. • Facilitate design workshops with Group Finance, local Finance teams and programme stakeholders. • Ensure alignment between SAP FI, CO, Tax, Treasury, Procurement, Sales and consolidation processes. • Define the future chart of accounts, organisational structures, accounting principles and reporting requirements. • Coordinate configuration, functional specifications, testing and defect resolution. • Support Finance data migration and reconciliation. • Lead Finance cutover planning, including opening balances and period-close readiness. • Ensure compliance with the global template and relevant statutory requirements. • Manage workstream risks, dependencies, escalations and key design decisions. Required experience • Extensive SAP FI and Record-to-Report experience. • Proven experience leading an SAP S/4HANA Finance workstream. • Strong understanding of General Ledger, Asset Accounting, Financial Close, intercompany accounting and reporting. • Experience with Universal Journal and the SAP S/4HANA Finance architecture. • Good understanding of integration with Controlling and other SAP functional areas. • Very good English, minimum B2 level; C1 preferred.
