Accountabilities:
The Regional Vice President, New Client Development will focus on expanding client relationships, supporting advisory teams, and driving asset growth through strategic outreach and consultative engagement. The role requires strong financial expertise, sales leadership, and the ability to translate complex planning concepts into meaningful client solutions.
• Develop and execute strategies to acquire new high-net-worth clients and increase assets under management through direct marketing channels and relationship-building efforts.
• Partner with marketing teams to refine client-facing materials, presentations, and messaging that effectively communicate value propositions.
• Differentiate wealth management solutions through consultative conversations and personalized financial planning approaches.
• Meet with prospective clients to understand financial goals, identify needs, and introduce appropriate advisory solutions.
• Support local advisory teams in expanding market presence while maintaining strong client service and retention standards.
• Build trust with prospects through educational presentations, financial discussions, and tailored recommendations.
• Assist with the creation, delivery, and execution of complex financial plans and investment strategies.
• Maintain strong follow-up processes and ensure seamless client transitions after acquisition.
• Utilize CRM platforms and sales tracking tools to manage opportunities, relationships, and business development activities.
• Travel regularly within the assigned market to meet prospects, partners, and advisory teams.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an experienced wealth management and business development professional with a strong track record of acquiring clients, managing relationships, and delivering financial solutions. Success in this role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to operate independently in a growth-focused environment.
• 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, investment management, or financial advisory roles with demonstrated success building client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, marketing, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of wealth management practices, financial planning, and investment advisory services.
• Proven ability to acquire new clients, generate referrals, and convert opportunities into long-term relationships.
• Experience working with high-net-worth individuals and complex financial needs.
• Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to identify client objectives and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Demonstrated success developing strategic sales plans and driving revenue growth.
• Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• FINRA Series 65 or Series 66 required.
• CFP certification preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel regularly, up to 50% within the assigned market.
