Atwell, LLC is a proud recipient of the following 2025 awards: <ul> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ten consecutive years in a row as a “Best Place to Work” by Zweig Group (#11)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Recognized as #70 in the ENR Top 500 Design Firms, ranked in every region</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Recognized in Crain's “Fast 50” as one of the fastest-growing companies (#14)</li> <li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Recognized as the 2025 ENR Design Firm of the year for the Southeastern US </li> </ul></div><h3>Responsibilities</h3> <ul class="_8ca70646 _39bee756 _66f66072"> <li>Performs and oversees civil engineering work, focused on site design components including site layout, yard piping, paving and grading, and stormwater infrastructure</li> <li>Performs and conceptual and preliminary design activities including site visits, fieldwork, alternatives analysis, and report preparation</li> <li>Completes detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications for site civil aspects of residential or commercial sites</li> <li>Conducts stormwater hydraulic calculations and/or modeling and incorporates into the site civil design</li> <li>Prepares and reviews technical memoranda, reports, and electronic deliverables</li> <li>Reviews contractor submittals for conformance with contract drawings and specifications</li> <li>Provides, and coordinates engineering services during construction</li> <li>Serves as civil engineer for large multi-discipline projects </li> </ul> <h3>Qualifications </h3> <ul class="_8ca70646 _39bee756 _66f66072"> <li>Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering required</li> <li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/site development, stormwater, and permitting</li> <li>Registration as a Professional Engineer or EIT Desired</li> <li>Ability to develop and oversee drawings for civil plans (site layout, piping, grading, drainage, and paving) from sketches</li> <li>Experience with the planning and design of layout and site design projects</li> <li>Experience with site development requirements and permitting; experience with environmental resource permits</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively with clients and project team</li> <li>Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint</li> <li>Working knowledge of Civil 3D and at least 2 years' experience with ICPR</li> </ul> Disclaimer While AI tools may support your application process, this role is built on human talent.
